2023 Auckland Champ of Champ Singles

It was a double win for MABC this season at the Auckland Champ of Champ (COC) Singles with Tony Grantham winning the Bowls Auckland men’s and Jhanna Savov winning the women’s.

Well done Tony what an amazing performance against Tony Balogh from Pringle park in the final, you kept us on the edge of our seats.

Jhanna may well have made history on two levels, a 1st year winner in the women’s champ of champs and the first women to play in COC for Mt Albert. Not only is she a 1st year but she didn’t pick up a bowl until she started with us as a social bowler in Nov 2021.

MABC is so proud of both our Champ of Champs but also very grateful for our huge team of supporters. On the finals day of the COC Singles we had a whopping 27 members head to New Lynn
